Ebbtide FOB resupply: ammo, fuel, and supply routes
Learn how Ebbbtide’s planned FOB resupply works, including held bases, ammo and fuel facilities, construction deliveries, and convoy protection.

Ebbtide FOB resupply requirements

Ebbtide’s announced resupply system requires bases you hold to rearm and refuel soldiers, vehicles, and aircraft. Its planned forward operating bases can include an ammo depot and a fuel point, while building materials must be hauled in by hooklift truck or helicopter sling. Keeping supply routes open matters because the horde can ambush convoys, cut roads, and besiege bases.
The official Steam listing lists Ebbtide as “Coming soon.” These are announced mechanics for the upcoming game.
What your FOB needs
The base-building description names several facilities, but ammunition, fuel, and construction materials serve distinct purposes:
| Need | Announced mechanic | What to plan around |
|---|---|---|
| Rearming and refueling | Soldiers, vehicles, and aircraft can only rearm and refuel at bases you hold. | Access to a held base is a requirement for sustaining your forces. |
| Supply facilities | FOB construction options include an ammo depot and a fuel point. | Include supply facilities when planning your base. |
| Wall construction | Every wall requires building materials delivered by hooklift truck or helicopter sling. | Plan material transport alongside your defenses. |
| Supply transport | Truck and helicopter convoys can carry supplies, troops, or refugees. | Account for supply movements as well as troop transport and evacuation. |
Other announced FOB structures include HESCO and concrete walls, gates, scaffolding, gun nests, CIWS, mortar pits, and lighting. Building these defenses and maintaining the supplies your forces consume are both part of supporting a position.
Keeping FOB supply routes open
The Nexus, the hive mind controlling the zombies, is described as actively targeting logistics: it can ambush convoys, block roads, and besiege bases. A supply plan therefore needs a response when a route comes under threat.
The announced warning system gives you notice before an attack, with options to reroute, retreat, or call in fire support from the operations map. Use those warnings to reassess a threatened delivery. Only hordes within your forces’ line of sight appear on the map, so an apparently clear route does not establish that no horde is nearby.
Truck convoys and helicopter transport are both part of the announced logistics system. Helicopters also support sling delivery of construction materials, but they face their own threat: zombies can cling to helicopters hovering close to the ground.
FOB resupply and carrier resupply
FOB logistics support forces operating on land. The wider campaign also includes resupplying the carrier group at friendly ports, and the Steam description explicitly says ship magazines are finite.
That distinction matters when planning support: a held base provides the announced location for unit rearming and refueling, while friendly ports provide the announced resupply opportunity for the carrier group during the world campaign.
